This is a bee on one of our hummingbird feeders. They like to walk the perimeter of the feeders, looking for syrup splattered and spilled by the Hummingbirds.
Below are the two tools that are as indispensable my smoker;
My Bee Brush, to help encourage the bees too move off the combs that I am inspecting, or to brush away bees from the entrance when I replace their feeder- and -
The hive tool- which allows me to lift and separate the combs and the hive supers themselves, as well as scrape away any waxy buildup that is in a difficult place.
